The Patrol Bureau of the Neptune Township Police Department is committed to improving public safety and quality of life for all residents in our community. All new Police Officers begin their career in the Patrol Bureau, working the streets of Neptune Township for their first three months with a certified Field Training Officer. Police Officers in the Patrol Bureau have many responsibilities, including traffic and township ordinance enforcement as well as answering calls for service.

Despite the strain of the pandemic, our Police Officers remained highly proactive this year, answering over 30,658 individual calls for service and making 1,391 adult arrests.
