Thank you to everyone who came out to the Monmouth County Bike Bash over the weekend! The event, hosted by Hackensack Meridian Health at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, included displays of emergency vehicles, local businesses and giveaways, helmet checks, car seat safety checks and much more. The event had the goal of ensuring all of the kids in our community are practicing safe bicycle skills going into the summer. Police Officers from the Neptune Township Police Department and our Bike Unit worked to teach bike skills and conduct safety checks. Thank you to Hackensack Meridian Health for the invitation, Neptune Police was proud to be a partner of this event!
