The primary function of the Street Crimes Unit is to investigate vice crimes and quality of life issues within Neptune Township. The SCU also works in tandem with County, State and Federal agencies to identify and arrest individuals involved in the manufacturing, sale and use of illicit narcotics. In addition, the SCU seeks to identify gang members and deter gang-related crimes. The SCU works under the direction of a Lieutenant, Sergeant and designated Patrol Officers.
