Over the weekend, the Neptune Township Police Department proudly participated in the "Faith and Blue" initiative, the nation’s largest collaborative policing initiative. Occurring each October, Faith and Blue has the mission of building safer and stronger communities by bridging the gap between law enforcement and residents through faith-based organizations. The initiative is designed to create safer communities through increased engagement with the residents of Neptune Township.

As part of the event, the NTPD visited houses of worship throughout Neptune that had registered to host the agency. Chief Anthony Gualario, NTPD Chaplain Rev. Nancey Jackson Johnson, and members from the NTPD explained the purpose of the program, engaged with the attendees, and handed out giveaways. We'd like to thank the leadership, staff, and attendees at St. Paul's Church, Living Word Christian Fellowship, and Holy Innocents Catholic Church who helped make this event possible. We look forward to expanding our participation with even more locations in future events.
