One Year Later, Man Charged With Armed Robbery

(Neptune, NJ) – On February 21, 2017 at 8:20 PM the Neptune Township Police Department were alerted to an armed robbery at the Dragon Green Chinese Restaurant located at 3705 SH #33, Neptune, NJ.

An unidentified suspect, wearing all dark clothing, gloves, a dark hooded sweatshirt, full ski mask and dark glasses, entered the business and produced a revolver. The unknown suspect proceeded to follow the female worker into the kitchen where she had retreated upon seeing the handgun. Two male employees were also in the kitchen at the time. The suspect forced the employee to open the cash register and removed an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the store.

On February 19, 2018, after a year long investigation, Det. Erick Amadruto of the Neptune Township Police Department arrested Glen Davies, 29 years old, Neptune, NJ, with Armed Robbery of the Dragon Garden Chinese Restaurant. Davies was additionally charged with Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose and Possession of a handgun.

Glen Davies is currently being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution awaiting trial.
